My name is Glenn Livingstone. I am a Coach with a wealth of experience.
I am Glenn Livingstone, married to Anthea and we have seven children and two grandchildren.
During the course of 60 rotations around the sun 😊 I have been a Presbyterian Minister, a City Councillor and now a Coach. I also Chair several governance boards.
The oldest of four children, my parents instilled in my siblings and me the value of receiving a good education. Given that one of the root meanings of ‘Educate’ in Latin is ‘Educare’, meaning ‘to be lead out’, this is a perfect alignment with Coaching, which is intrinsically a forward-oriented and future-focused process. Coaching exists to enable individuals and groups to realise their latent potential.
In relation to my own formal education, I have a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Social Anthropology and a Minor in Linguistics; a Bachelor of Theology with a Major in Pastoral Theology; a Graduate Diploma in Coaching and I am an Extended DISC Practitioner.
I am committed to embodying what Coaching is about – always striving forward, always learning, a process of continual personal and professional development. My own Coaching Guru, the late Stephen Covey, wrote of this process as ‘Sharpening the Saw.’ (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®)
